Administrative Core

The Administrative Core carries out the overall administration of the grant by providing support for data harmonization, management and analysis, patient recruitment and retention, and intervention adaptation and implementation.

Investigator Development Core

The Investigator Development Core has established a pilot project program to support innovative research related to cardiometabolic disease disparities. The program - consisting of Early-Stage Investigators - includes a built-in community network, faculty mentoring, and structured didactic training to support the program awardees.

Community Engagement Core

The Community Engagement Core is responsible for cultivating, organizing, and promoting bi-directional learning and communication between consortium members and community partners. The Core uses community-based participatory research to ensure that the voices and perspectives of marginalized communities are embedded into MACCHE’s research and training initiatives.
